Final Countdown to #znj071213 : 3 Dec 2013

Today is the day for us to go over to rom centre to collect our marriage package. We were allocated a slot at 8-8.30 am in the morn. We were a little early due to the good traffic. But there were already some other couples there. Quite a few couples have parents accompanying them. Something I don't understand why the parents want to tag along since it is only for the collection of the package.

After a while, the moment the centre opened, everyone rushed in. Seeing the mad rush, we joined in. Didn't want to get a lousy number so that Mr Cheong won't be late for work and heehee we got 0002. 

We were the #2 couple to be served. We haven even sat down for a minute and the number counter started moving. There are a number of countes. About 7-10. So unless your number is bigger than that if not there is no need to wait. Once we were at the counter, the staff checked our documents and gave us instruction on what was to be done on during solemnisation. After which, each of us have to say a vow to declare that everything is nothing but the truth and everything was done! I think it took less than 10 minutes for the whole procedure 

We tried taking selfie but it doesn't work, our heads blocked all the wordings ... Zzzz so we decided to get another couple to help us instead 

Upon posting the pics in my Facebook group: budget brides, lol I realised another member whose wedding date was later than mine was at the rom centre as well to collect her package. She had recognized me but didn't call me and I did not even notice any familiar faces at all. 

The final countdown has started .....
