Pasarbella and Pies & Coffee
Heard About this place since so long ago but only get a chance to visit it today.
After the main dishes at 830pm, we had wanted to order crepe and cake for dessert but both the shops were already closed. We were rather disappointed. Even though the rightful time for Pasarbella to close is 1030pm but many of the stalls were closing much earlier. Actually by the time we reached at slightly passed 7pm, some of the stalls were already closed. So for those who wanted to visit Pasarbella, do visit the place earlier to avoid disappointment

Pasarbella has in recent days become quite a hotspot for couples taking prewedding photoshoots. I would say it is quite a beautifully decorated place but still I think I won't want to take Any photoshoot here. It doesn't have the kind of feel that I want.
PasarBella is the first multi-sensory grocery shopping destination in Singapore. It is tucked away in a family, lifestyle and dining enclave, The Grandstand
PasarBella is derived from the local term for 'market', and the Italian term 'beautiful'

There is a beautifully decorated florist near to the entrance of PasarBella
P.S Pardon the low resolutions photos as they were all taken by my iphone 4.. With limited light, the quality of the photos is rather bad.

We were attracted by the washroom.. We felt that the sign of the entrance is cute!
Took some photos while waiting for the rest to get my dinner
Eva and Jeff came back with the "Ang Mo Char Siew and roasted pork" The taste was quite good. I especially like the apple paste that comes with it. Mr Cheong and Jeff like the potatoes though
Mr Cheong came back with a platter of beef and chicken.
Both Jeff and I didnt quite like the beef as we felt that it was kinda raw. Very difficult to chew or cut with the plastic knife. The way the food was presented was horrible.. like just throw everything into the plate
The pasta was surprisingly good. The sauce has a slight tingy taste which tasted alittle like alcohol . Mr Cheong got the platter from the same store that sells the pork knuckle. Pork Knuckle was the first thing that attracted the eyes of Mr Cheong. That was the first thing he ordered but the last to be ready. Mr Cheong was complaining to us that the staff who was responsible for the cutting of the pork knuckle wasnt very experience and took a very long time just to cut. By the way, I managed to catch a glimpse of the receipt and the pork knuckle cost S$24.

I would say it was a good experience but nothing much. Unless I am around that area, if not i will not make it an effort to visit Pasarbella again

Since
there was no dessert to be found at PasarBella, we decided to check out the
rest of The Grandstand.
We
managed to find Pies & Coffee which was still open.
Seemed
like nowadays many food places are using this alert system which will light up
or vibrate once your order is ready for collection.
I ordered a slice of brownie and topped it with a scoop of
chocolate ice cream.
felt kinda disappointed when I saw this.. how can brownie
come without chocolate sauce.
Without Chocolate sauce the brownie will be very dry.
So i went to the staff to ask for some chocolate sauce
And finally it looked like the above. Still the chocolate
sauce wasnt enough, the brownie was kinda dry towards the end..
But I must have
gained alot of calories after this.
Mr Cheong ordered a piece of lime and Basil meringue only
while jeff and eva shared a piece of Lime and Basil meringue, 1 scoop of
cookies and cream ice cream and 1 scoop of chocolate ice cream.
Mr Cheong likes the Lime and Basil meringue but Jeff found
it too sour for his liking. I managed to taste 1 mouth and I found it ok
actually not as sour as what Jeff claimed it to be.
Overall, I would say that the brownie was just normal.
