26 April : 333 Bak Kut Teh

We had wanted to go to Wheeler's Yard but we did not check their opening hours and when we reached at about 8pm, they have stopped serving food. only bottled drinks :) Kinda wasted. So we decided to just eat Bak Kut Teh since we were around Balestier area. As usual there was a long queue at Founders' so we proceeded to 333 Bak Kut Teh a bigger store further away. We usually go to 333 as we find that that Bak Kut Teh does not lose out to the one at Founders and better still it is cheaper than Founders. Somehow we felt that Founders is overly raved.

Mr Cheong ordered 2 Bak Kut Teh and 1 pork knuckle (as usual) I had wanted to order the intestines instead but was too slow, so I just leave the order as it was.
So here is the simple dinner we are having tonight

The peppery soup is yummy and it came with a generous serving of ribs. You can get them to refill the soup over and over again (like many Bak Kut Teh shop)

The Pork knuckle has been cut into small pieces. You can easily remove the fats from the lean meat so no worries about being overly attacked by its fats.It was well cooked and tasty and I could not help but want to have more of it and was fighting with Mr Cheong for the last piece
