Johor Bahru Pau/Tim-Sum (13 mAY 2014-pART 1)

We took our queue number from Chock full of beans and went back to this store Johor Bahru Pau/Tim Sum. The shop is minimally decorated. 

Since Mr Cheong was hungry and we do not know how long, our wait is going to be, he decided to get something from this store. 

This store is known for their 叶子楣大包. So beside the 叶子楣大包, we decided to get the liu sha pau (yolk bun) There actually still sell other special paus like those with sesame or peanut fillings. I had actually felt like tasting all of them. But well, we shall save it for the next time. 

The 叶子楣大包 as the name suggests is huge. Look at the size of it in comparison to Mr Cheong's hand. The 叶子楣大包 costs $3.80

Didnt manage to take a photo of the inside of the 叶子楣大包. The skin of the pau wasnt too thick and the fillings was aplenty. Usually some of the Pau which you have else where would end up causing you to feel tired of it but not the 叶子楣大包 sold here. The ingredients used were fresh. 

Next we had the Liu Sha Pau (流沙包). It may look average but....... do its looks doesnt do justice to its taste!

Look at how the yolk flows out of the Pau. U need to be very careful when you place your first bite as the yolk may just overflow. 

Omg just as I was typing this, I feel like eating it again!!!!!!!!
