Mr Cheong belated bday's staycation Part 1

Have been planning for Mr Cheong's 32nd birthday staycation. Shortlisted a few options :

W Singapore

Westin marina bay

Ritz Carlton

Fullerton

Was having a hard time deciding between W hotel and Westin Marina bay. And finally a difficult debate in my brains and heart, I decided on W sentosa reason being Mr Cheong simply love Sentosa island . He feels that sentosa gives a out of sg feel....

We opt to have the staycation on the 8 and 9 of November which is after his actual birthday as he wanted to have a prolonged celebration ;)

Finally the day is here and we had a wefie while checking in ! Happy birthday Mr Cheong ( again) lol

(Pardon the naked face of mine) cause here to relax, swim etc so nv put on any make up!

Mr Cheong was attracted by this doggie sclupture and asked me to take a pic for him ;)

We went to explore the hotel's vicinity a little before we check out our room and at level 1 is this hanging 'cocoon' which mr Cheong calls it ....

The coffee table within the vicinity are made of wood and takes on its natural design

Now lets go into the room:

Ive booked the Wonderful room which is the deluxe room

Upon entering, we were greeted by the sclupture of a hand holding a rose... kinda disturbing to me.. ahaha

And Tada... our room

The lights under the bed can be switched on. It is an unique feature of rooms in W hotel SG. Not so sure if it can be found in other W hotels or not though. The lights gave a romantic ambience to the overall feel of the room especially at night

The birthroom is separated from the room by few pieces of translucent glass. To have more privacy, you can close the window... but even after closing the window it is still quite translucent and it is not recommended for friends... but definitely for couples!

The bathroom is wide and spacious. almost the size of a hdb flat's room

I also find the translucent door or should I say separator of the shower and the toilet very unique

If you pull it over to block the shower area, the toilet area would not be able to have any door and when you pull it over to the toilet area, the shower area wont be able to have any door.

The shower has both the rainforest shower as well as the usual shower which you used at home. (this is quite common in the hotels nowadays

How I wish my new nest will have a bathroom like this (Dreamzzzzzz...)

After I was done exploring the room, Mr Cheong was already relaxing on the couch by the bed. And can you see what he was holding?

A blue metal frog! which I think can be used as paper weight (though it is not exactly heavy) or for some decorative purpose or even just as a souvenir for the stay at W hotel (You can purchase it from Whotel and if I remember correctly. It costs S$25)

Finally, we decided to move our butt and go for a swim
