Week 6 of my Pregnancy (Part 1)

Just exactly 1 week after my pregnancy confirmtion, on 30 June 2015 somethng happened.

I have been travelling to Taiseng area do run some errands.. walking about 20 min from the MRT station to my Vertex building and frm Vertex building back to Taiseng MRT. Each direction took m about 20min. It was hot since it was in the afternoon but I had a bottle of water with me. I kept replenishng myself with water until my bottle of 500ml was almost finishing. I was thinking. I will give myself a treat of soft drinks once I reach Woodlans station.
From Taiseng, I switched to Bishan for the North-South line when suddenly I wAS breaking out in cold sweat, my vision became blurry and I started feeling giddy.

I know I need a seat, I walked slowly from one cabin to another in search of a seat and there was an empty seat just in the very next cabin,. But, the seat was snatched away, seeing that I was walking to the empty seat, this Indian lady immediate walked faster than I did an sat down!

Knowing that I could hold on no longer, I alighted just as the MRT's door opened at Khatib. I alighted and took a seat  on the seats at the platform. I was feelng horrible and the cold sweat continued.

I tried to msg MR Cheong but I could not finish typing the whole msg. The feeling is simply horrible.
MR Cheong called me upon receiving just a 1 word msg and upon hearing what happened stopped work immeditely and came over to pick me up

When I was feeling better, I did a google search and it seems that I was either dehydrated or low in blood sugar.

Since, I felt much better after that , I did not think there was a need for me to see the doctor about it

At around 8pm, I got a shock of my life, when I was peeing. I saw that my usual brown spotting has turned bright RED!!!!!!!!!!

I broke the news to Mr Cheong who was out to get my dinner for me as I told him I need to go and see the doctor today.
When he came back, I decided that we should have our dinner first before we proceed to KKH. We do not know where else we could go at this timing and KKH has been recommended by others who told us that it is a place of specialist and best equipment for complications.

We reached KKH's O&E at around 1045pm. It was crowded and we did not know what to do until we found a machine for the Q number. The Triage counter for the registration showed 139 and our Q was 141. We thought that it was not going to be a long wait but we were very wrong.

There was no one at the Triage counter and it took us around 15min later to registered. During registration, the nurse asked me questions like why was I there that day to see the doctor? Do I have any drug allergy, signing the drug allergy form, asked me about the gynae and the clinic which confirmed my pregnancy etc etc n I waS to collect give them a sample of my urine.

After the registration, the waiting time was horrendous. Minimum 120 min of wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When it was finally my turn, as I entered consultation room 4, I was shocked with what I could see. I saw many ladies lying on the beds side by side each other in Room 3!!!!!!!!!!
I was told to sit down when the doctor asked a string of repeated questions again. Who confirmed my pregnancy, which clinic, ask to see my scan, any drug allergy, what are the medicine given by the gynae. Even before doing any check for me, the doctor keep telling us that bleeding= high chance of miscarriage.... I feel like telling her I know that, and thats the reason why I rushed to see her to check that my baby is safe.( I didnt though)

After the 'painfu interrogation' finally she decided to do a scan for me. The way she did the Transvaginal scan for me was so uncomfortable. My previous experience with the gynae wasnt even this uncomfortable.

Her verdict: The baby is still in the sac but she could hear no heart beat, She told me to get my gynae to do another scan on my next appointment to check if there is any heartbeat. And she repeated at least 3x that bleedig = high chance of miscarriage and did not even tell me what to do to prevent it.zzzzz
Moreover the scan that I was given cant see a single thing, no measurement or whAT so ever.

After the check, we got to wait again for payment and the bill though it seems that this is the most efficient counter.

I was being charged the private rate since it was a walk in without referral from the polyclinic... but well who would go to KKH at night if it is not emergency and we have no other place to go??????.. but I feel there is a great difference between a private hospital and KKH. After paying for the consultation and the Scan,
I was told to collect my medicine at the pharmacy which is located at the children's Tower! I do not underestant why the pharmancy is not located at the women's tower. You are actually making patients to walk such a long distance to collect their medicine?????
Seriously what is KKH thinking

KKH gave me Duphaston's Dydrogesterone this time round. From what I googled it seems that this is stronger and more "powerful" than the Utrogestan given by the gynae

And for 28 tablets, I was being charged 50++ which I later found out from a friend that TMC charged her $68 for 48 tablets for exactly the same thing..... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

The list given by KKH though I experience none of the side effects except for weight gain, and stomach discomfort if I did not have enough food
