Travelling during the 1st Trimester - Road trip to Cameron highlands + ipoh (part 2)

Morning time, means time for breakfast! We drove to the city center in search for food.
We decided on this place call My Cake home as we were attracted by the decor of the shop. It was nautical theme and seems to have gotten great reviews from Tripadvisor.

Food wise I would say there is nothing special. Very normal though no complaints but they took a rather long time to serve our food. Luckily free WIFI is provided for us to surf the net so that we will forget about the waiting time.

After our breakfast, we took a slow walk at the Pasar nearby before we head down hill back to Ipoh.
This particular stall selling raw honey attracted us the most.

We got a small portion to try and bottles back as souvenir. The honey was sweet but eating the honeycomb is kinda weird and after sucking away all the honey, the comb actually taste weird.

Along the way back to Ipoh, we stopped at Lavender Garden, An entrance ticket is needed but it costs us only 6RM for each adult ticket.

It was crowded with people even though this is a very small scale garden as compared to the one in Taiwan. Nonetheless, there were many photo opportunities.

We decided to go on a "flower plucking" experience where the men go around the small garden to pluck the flowers for us. Cant remember the amount we paid for the experience but we pluck a total of  6 stalks of flowes. 3 for us and 3 for Jeff and eva

My 3 pink Gerberas from Mr Cheong!

Our 6 flowers in total. Mr Cheong got 3 stalks of the same colour for me while Jeff got 3 different colours for Eva.

We headed downhill back to ipoh after our exploration at the Lavender Garden
