Travelling in the 1st trimester (Part 3) - IPOH eat eat eat!

Back at Ipoh, we took a nap before going out for food again. We went to
东区旺角茶餐室 Cafe W K and indulged in "coffeeshop delicacies"

We have over ordered and our tummies cannot stretch any further. After our food, we went to a mall nearby for a movie before we ended our day

Next morning, we began the day with more eating!

Yummy Dimsum and is definitely recommended.
Next the guys went to this salon at the mall nearby for a hair cut. Pricing is definitely cheaper than SG though I cant remember whats the exact cost already

Not forgetting some sight seeing since we are here at ipoh, we went to 清心嶺休闲文化村 Qing Xin Ling Leisure Cultural Village which is a rather new attractions here. Family-run so do not expect too much.

Overall, I would say.. there is nothing much here though it is a good place to bring children here so that they can get close to nature and find out more about life in the 1920-40s It is also a nice place for those who are interested in taking prewedding photoshoot with a oriental / retro touch.

Soon, it is time for more food! We decided to go cafe hopping! We decided on this cafe call Plan B. But before we enter the cafe, let me take a few pics of the surrounding.

Eva wanted to have ice ball from Bits & Bobs.

Ice ball is something like our Ice Kachang here in SG but with nothing except Ice and sugar syrup. Not very healthy but definitely refreshing on a hot day. There are a few flavours which you can choose from.

We got for ourselves homemade pontong instead and the pontong taste average.

Finally we got into Plan B

We spent the rest of the afternoon chilling out, playing cards game and relaxing. And finally our last stop- The famous 芽菜鸡 at Ong Kee

I thought the chicken and the bean spouts are so so only but the kuay tiao is kinda nice. I do not understand why it is a must eat in Ipoh though.
