After lavender cottage, the can driver drove us to our next destination,

Princess Annie Garden 安妮公主

It was a rather small attraction..even though it spans only a rather small area, it is a place where u can get many beautiful photos especially for ladies. Everywhere is decorated in the girly pink Colour. I think young girls especially will love this place. It is a place where the dreams of being a princess come true.

There are many wooden props available for use. These allow you to give your photos a personalised touch and differentiate everyone's photos from another.

We had some fun with the props too.

I especially love the above pic not because it is the nicest but I find it the cutest. I think it is a good place for guys to bring their gf to and propose to them here. :)

And a lovely harp. Great for photos !

N like I say it is a good place for photos especially for the ladies but not so much for the guys. I was the one who keep getting Mr Cheong to help me take photos and Mr Cheong was feeling too manly to be in this pinky place. However, I managed to get him to take a few photos at least. And here is one of them. :)

Entry fee was NT100 which u can use it go redeem for any purchases within the vicinity of the garden.

We decided to redeem a waffle- 没有告诉王子的初恋 ( again to share) which costs NT180

Waffles was one of the most popular in the garden. The can uncle told us that the coffee served here was aromatic and worth to give it a try but we didn't try it though..

Even the paper cups for the foc plain water is customised :)

And here comes the waffle! 没有告诉王子的初恋 ! The colours and presentation were terrific!

The waffles were so pleasing to the eyes that it was difficult for me to induce the first cut. Taste wise I thought it was ok. Waffle was crispy on the outside and soft inside. The only thing is, they should have put more sauce. :)

summit resort 新社古堡 aka 新社莊園 aka 古堡花園 aka 新社古堡花園 etc

We had previously wanted to come here for our prewedding shoot last year but it was too far from Taipei so we gotta give it a missed

The entry is NT250 per pax and only NT100 can be used for redemption. This is the most expensive among all attractions in the xinshe vicinity.
For anyone who is interested in taking your pre wedding photos here.
The entry fee would be NT3500 which include the entry fee of 6 pax + 6 free drinks. Additional pax would be according to normal rate.

(I realised I like more of the pictures from afar than near to the structure.)

There are many man made water feature and grand European styled buildings which you can take many beautiful photos. However, I heard that the place can be infested with mosquitoes during summer. So, please remember to bring sun screen and insect repellent if you are coming here then. But fortunately for us the weather was great. Very cooling. Thats the reason why we came back to Taiwan every year during spring. We cant stand warm weather!

While we were at the summit resort, we saw afew fresh graduates taking their graduation photos there. The European styled buildings there are nice. However, perhaps being deliberately made into a tourist attractions and unlike those found in Europe which have a rich history, something seemed to be missing from summit resort. Besides that, instead of feeling a strong sense of European style, you can instead feel Fusion. There seem to be a East meet West Kind of feel. For instant, instead of a waterfall, a water fountain should be built instead. That's just 1 example of how fusion this castle is. The restaurant itself is fussioned too. You will be able to feel more when you are here.

Apart from that we also felt that Summit resort lacks originality in their stuff for sale. As in unlike Lavender Cottage or Princess Annie Garden, it doesnt have souvenirs with its brand for sale. The things sold here can be easily found outside, and the things sold here are without a specific theme.

Signages found at Summit were also not as tastefully designed as those from Lavender Cottage

After all the food redemption at the various attractions, we were now quite full and decided to use the voucher for drinks instead. We ordered something like passion fruit tea and another one called duno what plum tea.. :P

Initially, Mr Cheong wanted the plum tea but later on exchanged with me again as he doesnt like the taste of that. Though the plum tea tastes a little weird but I was ok with it.

After which we were ready to go. We called the uncle and he was surprised that we had completed our tour around the area. He had thought we would take a long time and had gone for tea with his friends. He told us to wait awhile for him so we decided to sit in the cafe with our drinks to wait.
